Zero Option, Chris Ryan
What happens if an SAS Sergeant is tasked with assassinating the British Prime Minister?
SAS Sergeant Geordie Sharp, locked in a desperate private battle with the IRA, is required to undertake two top-secret missions, in the full knowledge that if they go wrong, the authorities will deny all involvement.
In the first operation he serves as commander of a hit team on a 100% non-attributable task assigned to the Regiment's ultra-secret Subversive Action Wing. The target is an Iraqi who defected to Libya after the Gulf War.
Returning to base, Sharp finds he must also carry out a high-level political assassination in mainland Britain. If he fails, his four year old son will die..
